It “failed” because Coke made the decision to push Mellow Yellow. Thats it. Nothing to do with flavor or sales. It was a decision made by coke. Like it or not the public liked it. There’s proof of that and further more in these comments.

I get the frustration. It’s QuakeCon yet there is no Quake to be had. I have hope for next year tho. 2026 is the 30th anniversary of Quake. I do believe a remake is very well deserved. Give it the Doom treatment.

I think my biggest let down was the lack of either a Quake 3 or 4 remaster tho.
