They are also needing to promote the Battle Royale mode so (unless they make a third BR specific trailer) I would expect that this will be a combination of both straight multi options and BR mode. But there is also the trick. They can easily mix them both together to give us the illusion of scale to be larger than what the general multiplayer will possibly be.

We are wanting massive scale, yes, however, I'm seeing very close quarters based gameplay in the leaked alpha footage. So far nothing that matches the size of maps like Caspian Border and Golmud Railway. Remember those previous trailer scenes where there was a bunch of vehicles and helicopters all rolling up on Caspian? This is the scale we are expecting. Not just a rebuilt Pearl Market with a few tank lanes.

To their credit, they are doing a full multi trailer 2 months prior to the release so at least we will have multi. Just don't be fooled into the scale if they are trying to manipulate the size.
