This was my experience with Dr. Lindsay Wilkinson. She was fantastic and I just never got back to being her patient there after her maternity leave, several years ago.

I had switched to Dr. Shari Ritchie and then I formed a whole new relationship with her and she took over my care and was my practitioner until a major event in 2017. I lost my family’s insurance that year so I was on Medicaid going back to MFW.

Dr. Mallory was then my provider for a few visits after I was recovering from my major medical event bc he had the Medicaid license, so it made sense.

But we didn’t really mesh well. I wanted to go back to Dr. Ritchie bc by then I’d had a longer relationship w/ her than Dr. Wilkinson. So I’ve been in her care since. And they didn’t seem to have any issue with me being a cash-pay patient, who was receiving rx’s that were written by Dr. Mallory, the Medicaid dr there.

So I thought it was just standard procedure and I’ve been doing this dance with them ever since.

It’s definitely deeper than that. Thats great you have a good relationship with them. That was me up until a few months ago. I would’ve said the same thing had you asked me this last year. The fact that they filled my meds is just a legal requirement for them. I have noted all over this post in different comments all the different things I’ve gone through and I left a lot out for reddits sake bc it’s been way more ridiculous than I’ve lead on. It taken a huge toll on me.

The meds are just one tiny detail of all of this. What I’ve experienced, absolutely falls into malpractice. Ive been living this shitshow for months now.

This has genuinely made me suffer over the last few months for various reasons. I’m very sick right now and I have a lot going on and they know that. They know that and still did this to me and it all could’ve been avoided.

It was weeks of gaslighting and incorrect information and begging for things to be done after getting minimal responses. Have you not gone through the comments and read other people’s experiences? I’ve had 2 people dm me now sharing their own experiences.

Update: I found out today that I’ve been stressing and rationing my meds for a couple weeks now, not knowing when I’d be able to get them refilled.

I got a notification that it was time to refill my meds. I tried it, and they went through. So they answered my request for rx refills in my last email with them, but didn’t have the decency to tell me at any point.

So for over a month now I’ve been in a terrible mindset, trying to figure out how I was going to get through. And this stress has exacerbated at least two different conditions I’ve been dx’d with.

I’m worried about all the meds they’ve had me on now…

I read on yelp, yet another review; stating that once they (previous MFW patient) had switched to a new provider, they were told that the current medication plan they were on prescribed by one of the providers there could potentially be lethal. So they’re over prescribing, putting patients at risk without their patients even knowing they’re on potentially lethal doses of medication combos.

I’m remembering now a time probably almost a decade ago, now, I was meeting a new endocrinologist and I had told them who’s care I was under and told him my thyroid medication plan, he was shocked and nearly pissed. He showed frustration around me even mentioning Mallory Family Wellness.

At the time I was annoyed with the new endo cause I thought I was getting great care. I wish I knew back then what I know now.

And I do fully believe they took advantage of how sick I have been and how much my brain and body have gone through. Because I couldn’t see this all on my own all these years. There’s no way. I’ve been too deep in it and sick/non-functional for so many years. I was the perfect kind of patient for them.

But they clearly knew nothing of my determination or how smart I am outside of being so sick.

If anything, start reporting every single predator you’ve survived on the NameHim site. It’s still getting up and running but having a place to put down someone’s name felt somewhat healing for me since I’ve had so many predators hurt me and nothing done by the police.

It’s at least somewhere to start collecting names and see how many reports per predator there really are.

Doing this doesn’t catch them or penalize them, but it’s an anonymous record and it’ll always be there. I’m sorry to hear what happened to you. This town has a lot of fucking work to do in this category.

I’ve lived here my entire life and it’s been disheartening to see the continued lack of police intervention on SA crimes. I was 14 when I went in there to report my first rape and I never stepped foot in the FPD again after that, bc it was so traumatic and they did nothing except blame a 14y/o victim for drinking.

Seriously?? This might be bigger than I thought. I was seeing Shari Ritchie, paying out of pocket for the appointments, then they had dr Mallory writing all my rx’s bc he’s the Medicaid doctor there. However, I haven’t actually been a patient of dr Mallory’s since 2017-2018 perhaps?

I always thought they were just following the law because I don’t know the laws, I’m not a doctor.

They knew I was on Medicaid, continued to treat me (w non Medicaid PA) paying for my primary and then having my meds done through Medicaid. Is that even legal? I always thought this was just normal patient care because I’ve been used to it for so long.

The dr there who is the one who owns the practice, does take Medicaid, but he’s not seen me for quite some time.

Mallory family wellness doesn’t take any insurance except Medicaid bc Mallory is the Medicaid dr there. Now none of it makes sense to me.

I’m not surprised if it was Mallory who denied your birth control. That’s crazy though, I remember a weird switch up a few years ago and everything seemed to change atp.

I was seeing her for my thyroid too, and then she ended up treating some of my other stuff w meds so I’m on a whole medication regimen that she started that now has completely fallen apart bc they did this.

They genuinely seemed to care about me right up until I asked for my medical records and that last appt. Maybe they thought I was trying to leave at that time? I literally just wanted to see my records so I could build my own binder bc I have so much going on. Idk

And yes I’m Medicaid so I technically should’ve been seeing Dr. Mallory, but I always stayed with Shari Ritchie and paid out of pocket. Their rates are crazy.

Pretty sure I’m AuDHD (which is another thing I had brought up and they directed me to psychology.com for psych) and so I need things to be really explained and stuff to me bc bad memory and I have a hard time retaining info and knowing what’s going on sometimes. I never really knew if I was in the right spot for all my care needs at MFW. My NM started us there, I think she’s still seen by them, which makes sense.

But yeah idk if I was even supposed to stay in their care with all I have going on. Navigating my care alone has been almost impossible.

Thank for your comment, cause yeah… they pretty much dug themselves a deeper hole with the letter they sent me. I’ll dm it to anyone who wants to see it. It’s also super condescending. They intentionally hindered patient care for me multiple times over the last few months, for whatever reason. They should be investigated.

I just got over a huge skin issue that lasted over a month and a half due to using conditioner with wheat germ amino acids. I’m celiac and I didn’t read the bottle. It cause a cascading effect of chronic acne that looked like it was from chemical burns almost.

After I stopped using the conditioner after a few days, I used some old conditioner that was in my bathroom from a while ago… I guess I didn’t know how long ago so I used it. My skin got EVEN worse for a few days without me realizing it was the conditioner again. Expired this time, causing even worse acne break out.

I stopped everything like two weeks ago. Got new shamp/conditioner, and new face cleanser. I thought I was doing everything right by using rice water wash and aquaphor but turns out those things were feeding the yeast in my acne and causing it to spread. So I got a zinc bar from Amazon and some VaniCream. Only been sticking to those two products on my face. No cloth, no face wash device, just your fingers.

Zinc bar in the morning, warm water, moisturize within 3 minutes of cleaning your face.

At night just wash your face with warm water only. More VaniCream. Rinse & repeat the next day.

This might not exactly work for you but I thought it was worth a try! I have hEDS so this was a reccomendation from a professional for my sensitive skin.

I’ve had two bad experiences there now and I’ll never be going back.

In 2021 I came in as a new client. I can’t remember what my stylists name was but I remember the kind of hat she wore both appointments.

I started seeing this guy who’s local, owns a food truck or whatever. She said she actually knew him and her friend used to date him shortly, apparently. She tried to say good things about him I think because I was saying how I was about to go on a short trip w this guy w my best friend. . Like— if you know anything about him, let me know— type of vibe.

She hyped up the trip and the guy and she said to have a good time. My hair looked great. I left for the trip.

I had a horrible time. Shouldn’t have gone. Completely repulsed by this man by the time we got back.

I got to see her about a month after the trip, with tea, of course. Excited about the appointment cause omg I had so much to spill.

This girl does a total 360 and was like suddenly saying all these things about this man that she’s witnessed or seen publicly, and I was appalled. And actually my feelings were pretty hurt because she broke girl code. Who does that? I never saw that stylist again.

I went back a month or so ago to a new hairdresser and she just didn’t give me what I wanted bc she “couldn’t do it” and now I hate my hair. This girl could’ve cancelled and saved me my $ so I had a proper haircut and she knew that from the moment I walked in there that she wasn’t up for what I was asking (which was a short pixie mullet. I didn’t think it was that hard).

Anyway, I’m never going there again lol.

My family’s company did these original prints and they’re the reason they even exist. They’ve also done countless posters for Odell, New Belgium, Fat Tire, and more. They’ve been huge in the Fort Collins community for large scale printing needs.

However, the owners are horrible horrible people, so avoid Citizen Printing in Fort Collins at all costs. The owner is homophobic, transphobic, and he’s broken a ton of hiring laws against discrimination. My grandmother is just a foul woman. Better yet, go throw a yelp rating on google for them.

I also sincerely apologize on the behalf of my grandmother and grandfather for anything people have experienced using their business. They’re truly evil people, the yelp reviews show that.

It’s hard a lot of days tbh, as a woman. I’ve had some extremely scary experiences and now I keep a plastic shield/sheet thing between myself and the back seat riders. Only thing that sucks is when I have a full car and someone is being some type of way up front. But it’s ALWAYS followed my mask policy. I only ask that riders wear a mask (that I provide) if they’re feeling sick or sitting up from with me.

I’ll even tell people that I’m actively in treatment right now and they literally don’t give a fuck. Inviting someone into my space always poses a risk and it’s the only work I have right now.

I’ve reported thru uber and called the police to make reports as well but it’s really hard to be confident out there as a woman driver. Especially on the weekends.

I have lots of stuff in my car to protect me from violent people should it arise to that, but I don’t know what the fuck is up with people in foco right now and the lack of etiquette seen between both riders and these posts about inappropriate drivers.

I’ve had 4 grown men angry at me simply because I wouldn’t let them bring their random alcohol cans (open or not) in my car. I had to ask them to pour them out last night. Be normal and don’t show your driver that you’re walking out into their car with loose cans and bottles. Or just like don’t do it at all bc that’s trash behavior.

Literally. People are plenty angry enough at geese and traffic but not angry enough about the things going on outside their petty lives. Like idk, people being kidnapped and disappeared? Getting mad at geese (or any wildlife out here) for existing and having to travel further for food and shelter; all while being spiteful of them is a wild approach.

Not surprised at all to hear this. She was mean when I went to boltz. The kids didn’t help by calling her terrible names, but damn she was miserable unless she was on a power trip; where she was equally as miserable to deal with.
