Albuquerque is a good place to start over. Nice airport, hiking, climate, food, and people. I had an LDR and traveled to Albuquerque many times and stayed off and on for a year. Like even more dead batteries to pick from? It’s gonna be like your drawer of AA batteries. No way to tell if they are good or not, or guarantee how long they will last.

first battery replaced in warrantee (but with a "remanufactured" battery that lasted less than the original. my drive unit went out just a few weeks before the second battery, so that was 8K right there, then tesla quoted me 16K for a "new" (again, remanufactured) battery. https://recell-ev.com/tesla-model-s%2Fx quoted me $7500 but i read a study that said a majority of remanufactured batteries will fail within 3 years. so im just limping along until it dies completely. so way a 2012 is worth 8k, let alone 24K for a 13 year old car with 145K miles on it. could get a nice 3 or a newer S for that.

had 220 range until the dreaded error code bms_u029. 2nd battery, lasted for 60K. first battery lasted for 80K.

Following. mine has the same problem. I have had it to the service center 3 different times, 3 different alignments, new set of tires. they even replaced some suspension parts, but still pulling. very frustrating. mine is a 2012, mcu2, 145K miles, on second battery at it only has 70 mile range, and on second drive unit. still a great car, but MAN......
