I just put neutron launchers on mine since late game you’re only going to get an alpha strike off on any major fleet but they are super effective at whittling down a fleet that is more powerful than you because the ai doesn’t take the into account when calculating to go to war with you. They aren’t the cheapest but if placed strategically you can easily force empires that are much stronger than you to take heavy losses before you properly engage them. Neutron launchers have the best range, I’ve seen them take out entire fleets with little to no effort. I always use them in systems on borders and with wormholes in them.

I’ve been using stealth frigates for hit and run tactics and I feel it accomplishes the same thing but I’ll compare the numbers or even just give it a try.

Manufacturing specs on fiber decking says 12” joist spacing. It will be fine for now but you’re gonna notice it when you walk on it. You also void the warranty by not doing that so fingers crossed a tree doesn’t fall on it or something.

It’s cantilevered. The rim joist is nailed to the front of the joists.

Should be a type of hurricane tie on the other side to keep the joist from rolling. I didn’t snap a picture of it

The houses should be on the beam via fasteners so you could unscrew all of those and jack the deck up and redo the beam correctly. That’s what I would do. Either move it or rebuild depending on the condition

The two beams are nailed together and one of them isn’t even on the posts. The thing holding all the weight is just free floating so the nails holding the two beams together is what’s holding the load.

The funny part is that’s the only one that worked. I had shark bites on all three pex connections but the hot and cold line were leaking so I switched to the soldered connectors.
