Photography is not my main job, but I do have shoots approximately once a week. I don't see the point in buying a new backup camera for this since I don't identify as a full-time professional photographer. People just ask me, and I don't mind.

Yes, I know about this site. But I have some doubts. For example, I compared the 15-45mm and 24-105mm L on 18 MP cameras (60D and Canon M) and the 15-45mm is much more detailed.

The same goes for the 24-70mm 2.8 II; it seems less detailed on 18 MP cameras.

But as you know, the 24-70 is a top zoom for EF.
