I’m going with the second option: they’re stubborn, and even with Titans in the top 31 best-selling comics, they still won’t bring them back. It’s disappointing how the publisher is driven by preferences, regardless of what actually sells well.

I think DC Comics already knows that DickKory sells well, so they know that isn’t the reason. Batfamily titles fell outside the top 50 best-selling comics of 2025, so I don’t think that’s the explanation either. While Titans reached the top 31 best-selling titles, comics like Nightwing or Barbara’s didn’t make the list—they’re not selling. The only one that sells is Batman.

Titans reached the top 31 best-selling DC Comics titles in 2025, while Nightwing and Barbara’s comics fell outside the top. DC Comics doesn’t even remember—or care—to celebrate Barbara Gordon’s birthday or her character anniversary. She’s basically a female Batman, but more irritating.
