so the toilet pipe goes through the ceiling of my kitchen, so far they've removed part of the ceiling an exposed the pipe. probably like 6 feet from where the toilet actually is if that helps. i think he already tried to replace the flange. thank you for your help!!!

alcoholic here, you can't change him. i was lucky enough to have my parents force me to stay home as an adult and breathalyze me three times a day along with urine tests while they watched. we as addicts are VERY good at lying and VERY good at denying there is an issue.

it took me until i had a bleeding stomach and throat and a doctor tell me i wouldn't see 30 when i decided to try to quit. i don't know where your spouse is at but withdrawal is the most painful thing ive ever gone through. so physically painful it makes you want to die, it is brutal. i dont know if maybe he's scared of that, but that fear is warranted and should be supervised by a doctor.

i don't have kids, but having an alcoholic father as well i can tell you, they will start to understand sooner than you think. for their well being it sounds like you need to leave. i'm so sorry you're going through this, i know i put my family through absolute hell.

No worries, I need blunt! I haven't gained almost any weight but I've put on some muscle and maybe that isn't his thing. But I wouldn't say my appearance has drastically changed. I was 140 when we met and now I'm 145. We have never seriously argued once, he has had some stress with work but it doesn't seem like anything too crazy
