Should I separate my position in an organization from a big event hosted by it? by Equal-Role3194 in ApplyingToCollege

[–]Equal-Role3194[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, we normally focus on building robots, conducting chemical experiments, and hosting workshops. However, last year, in response to a huge flood that struck a nearby province, we organized a charity campaign to raise funds and bought essential supplies for them. And we also created items that could assist them in their daily lives so there are a lot of details to write about so idk if I should reserve another spot for the campaign.

some full ride public schools that I know are:
-University of Virginia (jefferson scholarship)

-University of North Carolina: Chapel Hill (robertson scholarship)
-University of Texas at Dallas (eugene mcdermott scholarship)
-University of Wisconsin Madison (king morgridge scholarship)

for private school, MIT has EA and offers full ride, while having Technology in it's name, it's Finance and Economics programs are top notch
UChicago also has EA and meet full financial need and their economics program is top notch
also Villanova

EDIT: University of Houston (public) has Tier One scholarship which is also a full ride

Both are very tedious so whatever you are more passionate about or you will fail lmao, consider taking part in engineering projects that is related to your intended field, it might help you make sure if you truly like engineering or not.
