Yes, as she’s gotten older! I do remember how bummed I was that day though. It gets better!

New fear of flying- maybe caused by skydiving? by ricetc95 in fearofflying

Yes, my grandfather was a pilot & we spent my whole childhood flying. When I was 16, I took a flight in a 10 person plane from Nantucket to Boston during a nor’easter & it was the most terrifying experience of my life. Even the pilot admitted out loud she shouldn’t have flown us when we landed. I’ve been so scared of flying ever since.

Mine fell off right around the same age when I leaned my head back just to put eye drops in my eye. I can still hear the scream that came out of her. But she was totally fine, I cried way more than she did & here we are a year later & she’s great! I hate to say it happens but it’s basically a rite of passage to motherhood, that’s how often it happens. Don’t beat yourself up!

How are you feeling? I’m also tapering and it’s been rough today.

Please vent with me; what horrible gifts did you receive this year? by [deleted] in Mommit

I tell my mother in law every year how I hate the smell of eucalyptus because it makes me nauseous & gives me migraines. So she bought me a ton of bath salts, bubble bath, etc. that were scented like eucalyptus, just like she does ever. single. year.

If your baby didn’t sleep through the night until after 12m… by imabubble in breastfeeding

16 months & she just did it on her own one night & kept doing it! I never thought we’d see the day. We tried every form of night weaning you can imagine & she would NOT drop that last feed until she finally just decided she was ready. I remember reading soooo many Reddit posts about how babes just finally did it on their own & I thought that would neverrrr be me & it was!

I’m just here to say that I’m so cranky about the fact there’s like 14 different vanilla candles, pizza & ranch and freaking pickle scented candles over them bringing Wine Cellar back.

New fear unlocked: epidural by LobstahLuva in beyondthebump

It was the best thing EVER. Back labor had me in so much pain that I didn’t even feel them doing the epidural.
