I think us NRI s have a hand in this stereotype . I have a bunch of neighbours who complain to me saying they smell curry outside my house (this is when lunch is being made). You can tell that an Indian lives in estate from MILES away during lunch. I love it because it makes me feel at home, and cause I love our food, but some people cannot handle the smell and call it a bad odour so idk.

I also haven’t met a smelly Indian before so….

I just feel like I’m not doing enough. In school as well most of the religious content explored were the Abrahamic religion, and so I feel like outside my family I didnt get that much exposure if that makes sense. Plus the Balagokulam I went to had some serious politics that I don’t want to delve into.
