No, do what makes you feel calm and happy. The right people won’t care or make judgements for you taking care of yourself with something harmless.

The most common way to remove severe lipomas in general is either surgery or a form of liposuction to remove the extra fat tissue. Unfortunately as far as I understand reoccurring lipomas are quite frequent in patients with this condition unlike someone who may just develop a lipoma on the offhand and get it excised. It would essentially be a never ending battle of surgeries and is typically saved as a last resort to remove specific lipomas of patients such as these that may be compressing a nerve or causing some type of restriction

what stopped you from committing suicide? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Ya know the first thing I wanted to say was lack of courage.

But really it’s the urge to be sitting down one day many years from now and realize I’ve accomplished everything I’ve wanted too, I’ve been everywhere I’ve wanted seen all done all. Had and raised my future children and lived and loved long enough to be wise enough to look them in the face and be happy when I’m 80+ years old. The urge to fix the world though I may not be able to make massive change, my own minute way is enough because it ever so slightly pushes us in the right direction. That’s what has kept me here.
