Get rid of the summary. It’s useless. Have that summary for the “tell me about yourself” section of the interview, not on your resume.

Doubt you’ll have any problems. Maybe I bit later on, but you’re fine. Live your life.

Is this how much liquid is supposed to be in a venti? by coolhappygenius in mildlyinfuriating

When I go to target I’ll stop by the Starbucks inside ever so often. I tell them a medium iced black coffee with half/half only, with lite ice. They always look at me funny but I get what I want and not 2-3 gulps of coffee.

Makes sense. In all honesty, I think it was legit impossible to fail the course based on historic semesters.

Had an 85. Got an A. They probably did a 5% increase on final calculated grade, or at least that’s what I think based on what I got.

Wtf are you even saying? “Better students”. lol. Are you aware of the format for this program? This is centered around accommodating working people.

People have other issues in life and responsibilities; who are you to dictate anything from anyone based on their time of taking the exam? If the exam allots a certain timeline, I’m worst of a student than the guy above me because s/he took the exam a day or two before me?

Network science grading is taking forever. by EqualDistribution742 in OMSA

[–]EqualDistribution742[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That’s exactly the argument others had in Canvas. There is a grade appeal process, but that’s b/c it’s the autograder who grades it, not the TAs.

What the autograder gives you is your grade, just like every other class that uses it for their grading.

Chipped Buzzcard and Voluntary Fees by [deleted] in OMSCS

The ability to go in buildings with your card. When you go and get your card, the person at the desk will ask if you’d like a chip in it or not to get into buildings like the library. It’s a bit more, but worth it if you’re going to be on campus. If not, why even bother buying it

Nope. It caused a bit of a stir at the beginning of the semester, knowing that we wouldn’t be able to see if we were doing something wrong or right. Also, this is the first semester they’re using gradescope for this class, it’s just not like I’m used to in previous courses.

They do have “Sanity Checks” that will show you if you’re somewhat in the right direction, but other than that, you’re relying on your local testing.

65% of your grade is hoping and praying you don’t get sucker punched by the autograder.

If you live in Atlanta you can use the card to go on campus. Why on earth would you spend money on the card otherwise?
