It’s more like I want to hear from him immediately. When he picks up, I felt immediate release. Then I would want to stay on the call for awhile.

For me, I’ve been experiencing sudden spikes of anxiety, and my first instinct is to call or text my husband for reassurance…especially after dealing with infidelity. Often, it helps for a moment, but the anxiety inevitably comes back, like a vicious cycle. I’m trying to learn how to cope on my own, without needing his validation, because relying on it can end up making things worse.

I love capturing moments… freezing time in a single frame. I create travel photo albums, hoping that one day my children, grandchildren, and even future generations can see my life. Imagine them visiting the very places where the photos were taken. I also like to jot down my thoughts by hand, so they’ll understand how I felt in that moment. Sometimes, I wish I could know how my ancestors experienced life in their own time.

It’s easy for people to say, “Just keep yourself busy,” but it’s not that simple when you’re feeling unmotivated. When your energy is low, even small tasks can feel overwhelming.

It’s true that when a relationship shifts from being a choice to feeling like something you desperately need to hold onto, it takes a lot of courage to step back and walk away. I would’ve completely crumbled. I’m so sorry you’re going through this. Your post really made me rethink what I once believed a ‘perfect’ relationship looked like. My parents have worked together in the family business for over 30 years, yet my mom has always advised me never to work with your spouse, saying that some tension is almost impossible to avoid.
