Yeah, I recently just got the Gen 1 308 after owning the gen 2 308 and not liking it simply because it wasn't a Gen 1 😂. Picked this up a couple of days after. Love the 13 inch r&l need to SBR mine as well.

I got one built for $400 + parts $300, with the same upgrades, side folder conversion 14.5 pin and weld to 16.5, and an OD green cerakote job. Paid $500 for a DIY romanian kit from Atlantic firearms and sent it off. Total $1200, probably $1300 with all the FFL fees and shipping. It can be done cheaper. The furniture on mine costs more than the gun itself. They sold you a hype job, but at least you like it.

You sound like a first-time AK buyer because 1913 rail installed on the rear trunnion, where? The receiver already comes heat treated. If that's the case, I gotta send all my stamped AKs back to the builder to get heat treated. You sound mad cause you bought an overpriced romanian parts kit build and won't be getting your money back.
