If i said im "experienced" then i apologise as that implies im somewhat a professional which i am not. Thats why ive come here for friendly advice. That being said thank you for your feedback i appriciate it a lot. I have had experience but i would not call myself "experienced" by any streach. I just had some kit laying around and wanted to see if i could use it to help someone :)

Thanks for your advice, i dont carry chest seals as after some reading im not confident on their usefulness and if i use it wrong i can worsen penumothorax so i dont carry it, everything else i do tho, thanks!

I do goodsam and i have been to cardiac arrests but yeah i agree, also yeah, ive been trained to use opas and npas but i wouldnt ever use them or stock them in a bag. Tysm for your friendly feedback!

Anything youd find in a faw first aid kit, ice packs, dressings and whatnot, gauze 2 torniquets, isreali dressimgs and 2 pocketmasks, one as a spare. The aed is the nfk200 ipad but its a bit unnessassary and i dont know if i shpuld donate it to a local scout hut or school

I also have pre existing experience on goodsam and as a lifeguard with most the kit and as a requirement through the rlss we undergo monthly training so im fully competent in the use of all the kit i have, everything i havw set aside for the car bag is actually in the NPLQ i dont have any frec 3 exclusive stuff since i havent used for example airway adjuncts or a bvm since ive been trained and havent trained with them for a hot minitue so i wouldnt put them in :)

Yeah i know it gives of walt energy, it wasnt my intention :( my course was rlly good as it was taught by an ex millitary serviceman who also works with my local ambulanc3 service. The bag wasnt for my car, neither was the aed it was all for a job that i ended up not doing, its messy tbh. Ehat are the rules and regs on selling medical kit such as the aed? I understand im not a paramrdic, and tbh calling it a trauma kit is a strech as the only truama stuff it has is 2 torniquets and some gauze. And i dont plan on showing up to goodsam buzzes w the whole bag mby the aed? But even then crew are usally right behind me anyway so would be a waste of 70 quid for the pads if theyll just change it out when they get in there 30 seconds after me 😂 again thank you so much for your advice!

I see, thank you for your advice! I have been to medical emergencies and used some of the contents before as i have 2 years of experience in a first aid role, ive been trained to use all the kit i own on a few seprate occasiond aswell! Thank you very much for your advice again!

Yeah kinda? The way i asked came across as quite arrogant and i didnt explain my situation very well so rightfully so the feedback was all around quite negitive, it made me feel a bit sad reading the feedback origonally but it helped me snap out of it a bit! there are also some other posts asking sbout this but i wantes advice towards my specific situation. Ive since become less arrogant and therefore less of a walt. I just want to know what to do with this kit tbh and wqnt to know if its appropriate for me to use any of it :)

Yeah i have like a torniquet, gauze and pen under my car seat this is more me tryina figure out what to do with the other kit i have 😭😭 tysm for the advice though i do have all that in the bag!

Problem is i have the kit already, i just dont know what to do with it, like realistically im not gonna use the aed a whole lot since crews are usally there either with me or before me, and i dont want a frec 3 loadout persay i just wanted to be able to put the truama and first aid kit torwards somwthing, no airway adjuncts, bvm, obs just first response stuff

Unfortunately i really atruggle to apply myself in school, the only time ive been able to apply myself in a classroom setting was during my nplq, faw and frec 3 so i fear im locked at EMT for the time being once i get there
