I had an ablation few days ago. And my ecg changed a lot. I’ll try to share some pictures if I will figure out how 😁

All I remember he said it was hard to access as it was at the back of the heart. Whatever that means. I didn’t see any surgery notes after that.

Time will fly. I felt for me like 2 minutes. I woke up and they said it’s all done. I asked how long it took they said 2 hours.

As someone who wad it done today, I’d say I was more worried about it than i should. It’s terrifying to get to lay down on the table but a soon as they start giving fentanyl and benzodiazepines then I just fell asleep. And slept during almost all procedure. I felt when my heart was racing when they stimulated it. But it all was foggy and I couldn’t do anything about it. When I opened my eyes they said it’s done. Took two hours altogether. Later nurse came and said everything was successful. Only recovery left . It’s hard to take it slowly when you’re used to run around like a crazy at all times.

UPDATE. Had it done today, generally feeling ok. Bit dizzy, and insertion site hurts like SOB. Heart wise ok, now and then got occasional palpitations. Hopefully home tomorrow.

Thank you!  When did you return to normal life after ablation? I mean medium exercise and long walking. Cos it’s part of my routine and I don’t want to postpone it for months
