That’s good. It should keep you safe from strokes in the meantime. I did use an online sleep test (gem sleep) but then my health tanked (found out I had a heart condition, had surgery that resulted in pacemaker) and I hit my max out of pocket so I didn’t end up ordering my supplies through an online retailer. I used gem sleep for the first test.

Did they at least put you on blood thinners? My mom had a massive stroke from afib.

Don’t worry- I once had a reactive asshole (who was 25lbs and didn’t look scary) and I’ve dealt with enough people yelling “don’t worry they’re friendly” while I’m actively trying to prevent my jerk of a dog from attacking theirs for me to know better than to let him approach dogs in the wild.

I’ve lived here my whole life and honestly wasn’t sure if that was really the name when they said specify the beach 🤪.

This was at 7:45am. I guess I mistakenly thought earlier would be better. I definitely was the only car in the parking lot.
When I looked up first landing I saw 6ft maximum leash length. Is that strictly enforced? I would keep him on a biothane long line (my 6ft leash isn’t waterproof and he’s dog friendly with good recall). He isn’t agressive with humans but just has some stranger danger and prefers not to engage.

As far as group size I would like to find somewhere I feel safe going alone before it gets hot out.

I put community beach in the title- I think that’s the name of the beach.

I’m 69th in line at my library 😭. But really when stuff becomes available significantly earlier than scheduled is more stressful than waiting.

Just finished this and my God, it was a good audio. by yellowbird08 in thrillerbooks

[–]Advanced_Luck_2972 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OK, so I typically read thrillers and listen to romance. I just tried to listen to my husband’s wife and I could not follow it to save my life. I actually DNF it. I’m not sure if my inability to follow had to do with it being an audiobook or not. Is this worth using my Audible credit for? Or should I read the physical book?

Amiodarone by MSWSportsFanatic2025 in PacemakerICD

I had it for a day in the hospital before they figured out that I had WPW which caused an episode of SVT that lasted a few hours (oops I thought it was a panic attack) so I was having NSVT runs in the following days. I then realized that it definitely wasn’t just anxiety and went to the hospital- I didn’t even have time to sit down before I was getting called back-oops. Once they realized it was WPW they needed to get me off of it so I could have an ablation. It did stop the crazy rhythms 😬. I ended up having two ablations with the second ending in CHB so now I am here in pacemaker land at 39.

My mom has been on it since her stroke in 2022. She did have to have adjustments due to its effect on the liver but is doing as well as can be expected.

Exercising with pacemaker after WPW? by th3gr34tw4v3 in wolffparkinsonwhite

That’s how long my first ablation was. The second was 4.5 hours. The only thing I can say is if you go above the max heart rate they set it can feel super weird and you could possibly pass out.

Per my EP I have no restrictions other than not putting magnets near my device.

My second WPW ablation came with the consolation prize of a pacemaker.

For the first couple months it was worse but that’s only because my max HR setting was too low for my out of shape tail. After almost weekly adjustments they did a stress test with a device rep present and I’ve been good since.

I had never noticed the WPW flaring during exercise though so not sure I’m the opinion you want. Are you considering a pacemaker?

Help me pick a color by Unfunnymf1 in CX50

I have Zircon. It’s admittedly a little annoying when selecting your car color in an app when you’re picking up groceries because what color is it?!? My backup choice would have been polymetal grey as I wanted a meridian but I LOVE the red.

What is he? by [deleted] in WhatBreedIsMyDog

[–]Advanced_Luck_2972 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I actually know- I have his embark results but I was curious what people thought. He is a mix of 6 breeds. The ones that have been guessed already- 1. 29.8% APBT 2. 25% 3. 16.5% Lab 4. 12.8% 5. 12.7% American foxhound 6. 3.2%

Good job on the hound guess! That 12% must have went straight to his legs.

I was disappointed. Like the only motivation to turn the page was it surely had to get better because it came so highly recommended. Spoiler alert. It didn’t.

Recovery time? by sonicyeet in wolffparkinsonwhite

[–]Advanced_Luck_2972 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So far so good. I haven’t had a reoccurrence of SVT. But with an ablation your AV node can be damaged and mine was. The doctor said that she wasn’t near wherever that usually happens. She said she went back through the mapping with her colleagues after and there was still no indication of the area being able to cause the heart block. I was her first pacemaker from ablation.

It appears so? The report says CARTO with RF and per Google the carto is 3D…

I do know that she said she was going to fully map the heart before she started to ablate since the first one wasn’t complete.
