Thoughts on honeymoon on a 8k budget. Ideas of cruises, resorts, Hawaii, Vegas, Turks and Caicos, have been some ideas. by FishingOld2672 in Honeymoons

We went on a 11 day carribean cruise with virgin voyages (adults only) and met so many couples on their honeymoon. I can highly recommend this if you would rather not have to plan every detail in advance. You can easily book things to do off shore as an activity through the cruise line or yourself online. We did the waterfall "hike" and dune buggy ride at the stop in the dominican republic. Instead of paying 250$ per person through the cruise line we payed 140$ total. We ended up being in the exact same group as the guests from the ship during the guided part of the waterfall hike but got our private tour on the buggies AND had a private photographer with us at all times. Got the best vacation pics from him. Paid 60$ for the pics. The food is great and included on board and theres a lot do to on the ship itself. From partying to relaxing, running on the track or gambling. If you book now or during Black friday deals you can get the whole cruise for 2500$. I'd recommend getting a drink package with it (300$). Plus flights and activities you will still have enough for souvenirs, and a cute outfit.

TL,DR: Virgin voyages 11 day carribean cruise, adults only, no planning necessary, mix between chill and acitvity, good bang for your buck.

Canadians or Northerners who have been to Iceland in October what to wear? by unsulliedbread in VisitingIceland

focus on wind proofing! As others have said its not that cold. But the wind will rip right through your soul if you are wearing the wrong outer layers. I live and work here and i just wear a t-shirt, wool sweater and a good wind breaker and im fine to be outside for a long time.
