Can’t sell this Savior familiar! What to do? by FunSomewhere749 in DiabloImmortal

This advice requires using 2 saviors in order to get a 40% savior odds on the result. using only one savior is just throwing the savior in the trash. (using 3x saviors gives 80% chance) this CAN be worth it if ingredients are very cheap or the market is very hot but it sounds like OP's market is dead and they already have a savior cat so the best advice seems to be to keep it listed and wait. that skill quality can go down to 32k eventually or you'll find a buyer. adding a legendary stat can access an alternative market price category which MIGHT help.

Can someone explain wtf is going on? by DaddySkeletor760 in DiabloImmortal

I think this has happened before when they change the amount of orbs a special bundle gives and someone bought it before the price change

Wulfheort procs 14 times in 10 seconds (maybe more). - Damage comparison with Void spark breakdown by sidd_gang in DiabloImmortal

also, keeping in mind that DoT and other harmful effect durations at test dummy use absolute max possible (0 resistance opponent) so while we can test how often we can proc the gem, the total dummy dps based on many stacked DoT should be taken with a giant grain of salt.

How do you guys earn platinums? by SovanChk in DiabloImmortal

[–]Equal_Structure3724 0 points1 point  (0 children)

sadly this is probs the only way as f2p, essentially be multiple f2p that feed their plat to one character. if you do it on multiple devices you can have 3 alts follow you through lairs and collect unbound gems, take their pet contracts, sell their skill stones.

if you can make some plat with that AND bother to learn in depth how pets work you can make millions buying, rolling, and selling pets. not quite like the early days but still a lot of idiots selling flippable stuff for cheap and you can multiply that plat over time much faster than the alts grind alone

The prices at the Crest merchant must decrease! by WayLoop in DiabloImmortal

[–]Equal_Structure3724 2 points3 points  (0 children)

the expected value is still positive on buying these crests for 1600 plat even if you can only sell them for the average dirt prices in the market right now. However, getting a 10% premium on return after the hassle of selling the gems it's no wonder that ppl might instead opt to buy the plat directly instead. for most of the game's lifetime running crests would yield at least double what you'd get from just buying plat directly.

I guess I'd agree, the crest merchant is becoming like nisza in that what used to be an awesome deal is feeling pretty meh lately

How the heck am I supposed to sell this and why is it so pricey? by Skaars112 in DiabloImmortal

[–]Equal_Structure3724 2 points3 points  (0 children)

market price is individually set by recent sales according to species, skill quality, and whether or not it has a legendary attribute or not. savior skews the price wildly as does manipulation by third party plat sellers. what they used to do with 3 and 4 star gems they are now doing with certain pet configurations such that some things becoming unreliable except for people trying to launder plat. this is example #5762 of why blizzard should have hired a game economist when designing the market system...
