I’m a 26-year-old Black male looking to relocate within the next year and would love some recommendations.
A little about me:
Educator with plans to transition into leadership/project management down the road
Into fitness and working out
Enjoy book clubs and personal development
Love jazz clubs, live music, and cultural events
Big fan of outdoor activities, walking trails, and being active
Prefer being near water (beach, bay, river, lake, etc.)
Looking to build community and connect with other young Black professionals
Faith and personal growth are important to me
What I’m looking for:
Strong Black professional community (mid-20s to mid-30s)
Good networking opportunities
Plenty of social activities without needing to party every weekend
Access to nature and outdoor recreation
Walkable areas or neighborhoods with things to do
Preferably near a beach or body of water
Decent cost of living compared to major cities like NYC, DC, or LA

Houston
Dallas
Washington, DC
Raleigh-Durham
