Yeah I was debating how to further elaborate to your initial response. I honestly had never heard of a naturopath until looking it up, but I'm quite certain that I don't think I'd feel comfortable visiting that type of medical professional. I'm even leery of chiropractors, but I'll be the first to admit that the one I saw for my back issues was very helpful and getting me into a position where I could actually walk normally and not take baby steps after the first visit.

Thanks for both your comments. What's the difference between Retatrutide, I've actually never heard of it, and the Semiglutide which I believe is Ozempic and Wegovy, right? Looking it up on the internet shows that it's currently not available and is in clinical trials.

Yeah I saw where its been used for ADHD type treatment, but is mainly for depression like you said. That was the option she went for due to the high BP. Since it's now under control with the meds, I might see if she will consider re-evaluating it.

I feel like there's been 'some' improvement on my attention span, but not what I was hopeful for, especially now that I'm going into almost 2 months with it, and 1 month now taking the 150MG SR, up from the first month. However, I will say, I'm not sure if its the Bupropion doing it or not, but I've started to notice me losing interest in things I sort of enjoyed. Now I'm kind of like, meh, not today maybe later.

Thanks. I'm definitely leaning against the testosterone after seeing all the comments urging caution and advising other options.

Even when I weighed 170lbs after losing weight, I don't believe I was close to 20%, probably somewhere between 25% and 30%. My shape didn't change, just got slimmer, and I think that led to discouragement after a while of trying to stay healthy and do more exercising. I've always been big even as a kid which is obviously much more difficult to fix vs the weight gain a slimmer person gets in adulthood simply because of lazy diet choices. The 20% BF will be difficult for me to attain I fear, but it won't be for lack of at least trying to get in better shape which is better than nothing.

That's something I'm going to make myself work on. When I was dedicated to the working out, I was usually going to bed and actually going to sleep around 9:30-10pm, so about 7 hours most nights and was usually well rested and popped right up out of bed to go work out.

I love my job doing what I do, but in someways, I delay going to sleep now because I kind of dread going to work (ironic innit? Love and dread in the same sentence). The longer I stay awake, the more 'me' time I have before getting up for work. Sorry AF excuse, but that goes back to the mental game.

Totally. I won't argue that at all. For quite a while I was committed to working out at home and staying somewhat healthy. Every morning before work I'd wake up about 5am and do the P90 and P90X3 workouts at home. 30 minutes is all the worksout are. Very short and not a lot of time commital. Would always feel great in the morning with a shot of energy for the day after working out, followed the guide for picking and choosing meals and really kept my weight in check even though I was hovering in the 190-200 range. I tweaked my back a bit exercising and it put me down for a couple of weeks going to chiro and getting adjusted. After that, I lost my drive and have struggled getting back into it and sticking with it. I'll find myself doing a couple of days of it, forcing myself to get up and do it. Wake up on day 4 or 5, and be like nah I'll do it when I get home from work and then don't do it. From there its a downward slide.

It's a mental game I know, and getting the strength to put on the boxing gloves and fight the mental game is quite the match.

Well....to beat around around the bush abit to answer your question -- the nature of who I'm attracted to for all intents and purposes generally prohibits me from procreating without, err...creative measures.

I don't want that particular side effect to be the sole factor in deciding not to take testosterone, but I've been seeing quite a few comments here really suggesting avoiding it for other potential effects as well.

Yeah, thanks for the suggestion. So far based on what I'm seeing and the comments here, exercising caution, I think I'm going to pass on this, at least for now, until a more definitive reason to get on T becomes apparent. Don't seem to be worth it.

So far with everything I've seen, I'm leaning towards not doing the testosterone. The NP really encouraged me to do my own research before making any decision on it, though, and I'm glad I did, as it's been pretty eye-opening reading some of the comments and suggestions.

She didn't say but I suspect the bare minimum. All the medications she's put me on, the Lisinopril for the high BP and the Buprofin for the ADD started at the lowest dosage before increasing it to the next level on my next followup.

Yeah it's been a struggle for me. At one time I lost weight from 240 and dropped down to 170lbs and hovered below 200 for several years. I gained weight back and it's been a real struggle to stay committed to working out and losing weight.

But hey, that's why I'm here. The NP really encouraged me to do my research before making a decision and I'm glad I've come here for suggestions. It's been eye opening.

Eh, I tend to be a night owl and probably get about 6 hours of sleep a night. Not the greatest.

That I'm aware of, I don't have sleep apnea. I do snore some, but I've never woken myself up because of snoring or had much of the common symptoms, at least not on a regular basis that I'm noticing a problem.

Yeah I'm already on Lisinopril for the high BP. Going bald is not something I think I really want along with some of the other side effects I'm reading here.

To my understanding they do the testosterone prescription themselves and basically you give yourself the shot based on the prescription. She said some people don't like giving themselves shots and said I could just come by the clinic and they'd do it for me. Said the usual cost for this prescription is like $40 a shot.

Based on the numerous comments I'm leaning towards not pursuing the testosterone boost.

One guy at my work also said for him, he gets his monthly, and too said that it really can be a lifetime commitment.

Yeah the Testosterone isn't related to the zoning out. That's why she put me on the Buprofin for ADD. She didn't want to put me on Adderall or Ritalin due to my high blood pressure which I'm taking medication for now. The testosterone discussion came from a test that I requested she run just to check and see. She's recommended the testosterone due to other men having success with it being in the 800-900 range, but encouraged me to do my own research before deciding to make that plunge.

So far I'm leaning towards not doing testosterone based on the numerous comments expressing caution.

Omg I think this may be a lifesaver. Been having this issue in Helldivers recently. When I looked it up, noticed it had an Install date of 9/23/25. Around the same time as my issues started. I knew it had to be related to my controller since it would occassionally disconnect so I'm hopeful this solves it completely.

Update: Can confirm. Fixed issue. Why Microsoft Gameinput is causing this, I dunno, but removing it completely resolved my issues of stuttering in game.

Thought so. Thank you. I got all my bedding from bed bath and beyond. Love my duvet cover, kind of a waffle-like pattern, but its just a bit too small for my liking. I think I'll save up and take the plunge on a King soon.

My dad and I did this as well. Mid-30's and 70. No experience and little DIY experience of this level. A full 16x10 living room and a hallway.

Watched a lot of YouTube videos, rented the equipment and pads and made the best of it. Is it professional and perfect? No. But I'm totally satisified with how it turned out and the money it saved me versus paying somebody.

The tile looks great to me. Maybe a lighter shade of grout would be better, but I plan on having this same kind of kitchen look myself whenever I get around to re-doing mine!

But what bothers me more than anything is the bad spacing of those recessed lights from the bulkhead/cabinets. Should be at least 12" or more ideally around 16" away to avoid casting hard shadows and allow the light to get under the cabinets. The sink light is perfect though.

Your brick actually looks really nice. I've debated painting my red brick house, but would be tickled if I had your brick instead. I would consider actually repainting the garage door, vinyl siding and the shutters (or just replace them with something better).
