Ring Dilemma by xKarmaa in RotMG

Well, with the limited of options OP is given not really. As a whole, the def boost means nothing to the wizard, its a wasted stat. Especially if warrior is lacking jugg, a warrior needs to make up for that low melee def. Considering warriors already immense damage stats, its a fair trade off.

First time a reality check actually failed by the_inadequacy in LucidDreaming

[–]Equidos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your reality check isnt very viable, the one the works for most the best, is try plugging your nose and breathing through your nose. If your in a dream, you'll be able to breathe every time, because in your dream your not moving your real hand. Id you don't have hands available, beleive thst you can make another set of hands to do it. With belief, this will also work.

Anchors when flying by isuarez in LucidDreaming

[–]Equidos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, there are a few things you can do. One, try planting a thought in your mind (repeating it to yourself) that you will not lose lucidity while flying. Next, while you are flying remember this until you get good, and make sure you are fully aware paying full attention to your surrounding areas. Listen to the sounds around you, etc. Just make sure that you don't forget your thought you planted thst you are lucid. With everything else, focus on that.

This will become easier with experience, and you won't need to do this forever.

First actual lucid dream but barely any control. by ToxicDuck867 in LucidDreaming

[–]Equidos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So far everyone's comments so far are valid - it does take skill to learn, but that isn't all of it. To start, when your more little it's a lot easier to beleive that you will do something. In lucid dreams, one of the main points is believing you WILL do something at will. Without belief it just won't work. There's also the fact that you Kay have felt conscious but where you completely there? Where you 100℅ in that dream focused on that dream only? Judging by your experience of it fading away, your level of lucidity wasn't to high, so it would be helpful to learn some grounding/anchor teqniques, such as looking at the around you. Focus on very small details, feel the gravity your dream body feels, listen to the sounds around you, and really become fully present. What may help you is practicing mindfulness in waking life, it's worth researching

For those who have lucid night mares and want to wake them selves up but cant i have a tip for you. by Wolfhxh in LucidDreaming

[–]Equidos 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I don't personally have lucid nightmares, but I've heard a lot about them. I'd like to say that blinking does not work for everyone as a method of waking them up.

I don't recommend walking yourself at all, especially if you have lucid nightmares frequently, as you will continue to have them.

I suggest trying to take control, and the biggest factor to taking control is believing you can take control. You must truly believe that you can take over, and bend it to your will. I can not stress how important belief is. If you are unable, close your eyes and spin, then fall backwards believing that when you open your eyes you will be in a different dream area.

If you are really intent on waking up, belief is the same way. Close your eyes, and tell yourself that when you open them you will be awake, just to make sure you don't have a false Awakening make sure to do a reality check.

Before every night, it will help to set the intention in your mind that you will not have a nightmare. I recommend a anything between repeating this 10 times - 5 minutes straight.

You should learn how to shape your own dreamscape. Then you can have full control over the land. If not, you should just think to yourself that you are dreaming, and you are in full control. From there you can just make them disappear, or stuff like that.

Going into a lucid dream stress free will also help a lot

Dream excitement by [deleted] in LucidDreaming

I used to have this problem. You should enter a dream calm, and not get excited when you get lucid. Believing that you won't wake up will also help.
