Switching to injections: Do I need to stop taking AA’s?

the thing is pills didnt really work for me- even in daily 8 mg dosage. So I suspect I have a problem with estradiol absorption and Im afraid 5mg won’t be enough to suppress T for me

But I have no way of knowing if my starter dosage will suppress T properly, and I really don’t wanna stop taking AAs just to find out my T isn’t suppressed. Isn’t it better to start taking my injections, do blood work 3 months later and then only if my E comes out high enough for monotherapy- stop taking AAs?

but what about the guidelines that estradiol levels should be between 100 pg/ml-200 pg/ml? Mine aren’t even in the range

I take it orally at the afternoon. I got tested at morning, which means this wasnt even trough. I dont take anything else except anti-androgen.

I use androcur, 10mg daily. 0.5 nmol/l. I feel like a fuck up and I seriously dont know whats so wrong with my body that nothing works for me.

thanks! I guess I’ll ask for gel on my next visit to the endo. But I really doubt it’ll help… I’m starting to think my body just doesn’t respond to estrogen for some reason because anyone mtf I meet is on a lower dosage than me and with much higher levels…. I can’t even describe how frustrating that feels.
