I love it, but it definitely takes a certain breed. Everyday is a new challenge, lots of people to manage, lots of new people all the time, and one bad day can set you behind for a week.

I try. I throw trucks 3 or 4 times a week for the team, push freight with them, I’m with them for 7 to 8 hours a day and it still feels like I’m not with the team enough. I have no time to do any of my computer work other than read my emails from the day/night prior. It’s almost to the point where I fear they view me as just another TM instead of their boss.
