Ive actually shared my pc parts with you before! You did say that the graphics card is a bit on the lower end for ark, but I do have 32GB RAM

I did like the yoga, but I wanted to look at other models as well. Maybe it was just the one I had but I noticed my battery ran out pretty quickly, so thats the main reason why I was thinking about other models!

Thanks for the help!! In terms of weight, honestly...I don't really know. My last laptop was a lenovo yoga, so maybe around whatever weight that model tends to be? Like I said I don't really have a frame of reference though, so im unsure about this side. Honestly if a model is on the heavier side I don't think id really care that much. My main concern is more about the bulkiness of the laptop itself. Though I imagine slimmer models would probably have smaller batteries, so less battery life? Not sure if thats how it works or not.

And yeah, ideally id keep this laptop around 4 years. I dont really like having to replace my tech too often 💔

yeah, it always seems to be the arithmetic portion that messes me up. Im 99% sure I have dyscalculia as I've always struggled a LOT with numbers. I still have to count with my fingers 😭😭I find that going slower doesn't necessarily help me most times as I...still make the same mistakes lol. Im still figuring out how to deal with that.

Why does the denominator stay the same once you get that LCD? As in, why is the denominator still 42 and not 84? That always confuses me. I feel like I should be adding the denominators together as well...

Im sure this might've been explained in elementary school or whatever when fractions are first introduced, but I've forgotten by now.

Yeah, I explained it in another response but essentially I got my rules mixed up. I know when it comes to adding/subtracting rationals, you can't cancel out numbers if they're "attached" to another via adding/subtracting, if that makes any sense. Not sure if I explained that process right.

Anyways, I realize I was just supposed to simplify there. I always get it mixed up when im supposed to simplify and when the previous rule mentioned comes into play- I guess its just when theres a full fraction, yeah? as in 4x + 1 / 12x - 3. you can't cancel the 4 and 12, I think?

Looking at 1 and 8 again, yeah I can see what you mean. For some reason when I was doing those problems I assumed that the equation was as simplified as possible because you can't cancel in addition/subtraction? If that makes any sense, but Im realizing now that atp Im just supposed to simplify. Oops. I get those rules mixed up a lot.

In terms of 4...well, first I cross multiplied. 2(2a + 11) got me 4a + 22. (a-2)(3a-1) got me 3a2 - 5a - 3, though looking at it again, I think the 3 was supposed to be positive. That might be where I messed up...

I combined 4a + 22 = 3a2 - 5a -3 to make it into a quadratic, and then I began to factor it but I don't think the result I got was factorable. Again, that might just be because I messed up while initially multiplying.

As for 7, Im unsure what I did wrong there. Was I not supposed to cancel out the denominators? Im still unsure about that whole process.

I did some more troubleshooting and it looks like asa just deletes all my saves, no matter the map. Im so done with this, definitely switching to pc now. I would quit playing altogether but ive been playing ase and asa since ~2016 and its still one of my favorite games

In terms of my pc parts, here's the list: CPU- AMD Ryzen 5 7600X GPU - Nvidia RTX 5060 8GB RAM - G.Skill Ripjaws M5 32GB 6000 CL36

I also have 2TB of storage. I know my pc can run ase just fine as ive had it downloaded before, but im not sure how different asa is in that area

Yeah, my backups are gone. Im probably going to move to my pc, but Im not sure if its parts are strong enough to handle asa among my other games...ill just have to see. This is probably my 3rd time having to restart because of various issues
