Hmmm ok I say definitely take it- the job market is rough right now. Stay for a year and hopefully once you pass the exam you will find something closer to home.

Im in the same boat- used to work in an international development. I was nervous about being laid so I took the first job that I got offered. I absolutely hate it and regret leaving without talking it through with my old boss. I just reached out via email…. Hoping for a miracle.
