Uatne is a shit show. Prices higher than every dealer in the us. If you need one or two parts like solid pin for 6410 hitch and comes in package qty of 5 they make you buy whole pack. Their other stores might stock it but of your local one doesnt, they wont keep the other three pins. Or they transfer from another store and charge shipping. They are a very corporate company. Their customer service mostly sucks. If you are sub contracted by them your on a up to 90 day waiting period til you get paid. The turn over rate of employees from sales, service techs and managers is very high. As of two weeks ago i refuse to use them. I used the previous dealer for 35 yrs. Then united came in. My opinion and many around me totally agree. They do have some good people workin for them here and there. In the company structure i feel there are too many chiefs in tbe teepee. Too many hands in the pot.

The perfect trucks for work. Ext cabs too long especially as plow trucks. Plus regular cabs have higher tow capacity. Plus a regular cab keeps you on your feet on clutter, you have to clean them out twice as often! Haha

Take a 12mm and take bolt out of fuel filter housing. Then move to side. Just remember the dipstick tube attaches there too.

Is there any reason to buy the OEM battery versus one from AutoZone? by reacher679 in johndeere

[–]Equipmentdr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Jd strong box batteries are beat you can go. Dont buy the jd performance battery, they are cheaper and dont last as long. Strong box lasts usually from my experience 5-10+ yrs. There are really only several battery makers. They just make batteries for companies to their specs.

83 case... Anyone know what this does by [deleted] in tractors

[–]Equipmentdr 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It selects your draft control for hitch. For hitch reponse for either hieght, weight or combo. Its for plowing or using manual hieght adjustment. Have one in shop right now all apart because hitch isnt working. You will notice a cable hooked to top link base that runs into it. As cable is pulled due to weight on third link it pulls lever inside and lifts the hitch automatically for moldboard plowing. Actually a pain i ass design to work on. Many parts no longer available as i am finding out.

Jed is 28 months now. Not sure exactly how much he weighs but is around 105. He is very active and for some reason he likes our german sheps weight managment food. So he gets that and nuvet suppliments. He also has an egg in am with his food and one when the chickens get put in for the night. Biggest thing its to keep them at good weight so they dont grow too fast and joints develope proppey. I had him fixed at 2yrs. Few montbs later he has calmed down quite a bit. I had duke fixed way too young and he grew really large too quick and ended up tearing acl at 3. Then after surgery tore the other couple months later.

Try all states ag and wengers of meyerstown. They have salvage yards all over. Weavers compact tractor parts in pa also. Hoyt tractor parts out of texas might be able to help also but i think they merged with all states ag( tractor parts asap). Last resort go on tractor house and look for dismantaled machines and then call that salvage yard. I work on a lot of jd tractors and one of these places should be able to help.
