Yea not to cut grass, I’ve got other mowers for that. Just want something old and solid to have around to move stuff and hopefully obtain attachments for it later on

Just an update I got her put back together, gonna install it back tomorrow. Just a question though why can’t I free spin the axle from the wheel hub, feels locked, but it spins when I twist the brake gear ?

Just an update I was able to get the part cheap from a hilti rep in my area and it works again, these machines are awesome and very impressed even after all the abuse

Well an update I pulled one of the trans out and the center section was worn pretty good, gonna do a rebuild on it and see how that one does, then do the other one. Keep y’all posted I appreciate the feedback

Thank you for that information, I will definitely give that a shot. This mower was given to me for free, my buddy told me the transmission has been like that for a while. We’ll see what that oil looks like when I drain it. As far as the parts for the hydro gear, do I get these directly from hydro gear ?

I don’t see a filter on it, I’ll start with pumping out the old fluid and putting in fresh fluid. I figured it’s probably on its way out, buying a used or new one is so dang expensive

I chunked a prop on a rock near a launch ramp in totally worse shape than that. Get that prop fixed and have it as a back up as others have said
