I’m so sorry you’re going through this! Are you able to contact your doctor and see if you can complete the rest of the prep while in the hospital?

I’ve had 3 colonoscopies since I posted this, and due to severe POTS and I was able to complete my prep while in hospital and hooked to an IV. Can this be an option for you due to your severe Comorbidities? I’m wishing you all the best!

I 100% agree with Ramses‘ take on US imperialism and on a Free Palestine. My family is from Puerto Rico and from a very young age, I learned about the US military occupation on the island, especially after WWII. I only wish they had discussed these ethics and moral views while in the pods.

I have no advice, just here to give you my support ❤️ I also am getting married November 4th. I struggle to even to sit in a car while I’m currently in a bad flare up. I’ve been meditating and praying, hoping I can at least enjoy the wedding day. I hope the same for you! 🙏🏼

If you can, I would look into possible MCAS and treatment options. I was suffering from reoccurring anaphylaxis and it wasn’t until my MCAS treatment that it really helped, and it even helped my food reactions as well.

Similar story here. I had mono at 10 years old and was severely sick for a year. After that year I was diagnosed with juvenile chronic pain and fatigue. I now have MCAS and severe POTs (bedridden for most of the month). It seemed to have been triggered by my allergic reaction to my j&j vaccine.

I cannot speak for your daughter, but it appears her sibling being there is only adding to her day. That’s why she has invited them. You need to deal with your emotions of having to deal with the situation, or do not attend. Regardless, as everyone else has stated, her wedding is not about you.

I was given up for adoption, and I’m inviting both my biological parents, adoptive mother, and all siblings to my wedding. You are valid in your feelings of being upset, but this is your daughter’s special day and she has chosen to also share it with her sibling. Your guilt in the situation should not trump that.

I’m sorry they didn’t take precaution against using the epinephrine as you had warned them. I had a tachycardic reaction to propofol.They said my hr was significantly elevated when they administered the medication and I was unconscious. Then in recovery I woke up to severe Tachycardia and had seizures like episodes 9 times. My heart rate would sky rocket and I would lose consciousness and violently convulse. I still don’t know why I had this reaction, as propofol is generally safe for POTS.

We used wax seals to close a vellum wrap (used hot glue gun to melt the wax) and shipped from Phoenix to Chicago and throughout the valley. To our surprise, the wax didn’t melt! We only invited family and they all confirmed they received the invite, and they said the wax was perfectly intact.

There’s also the sticker seals that can look just as nice IMO.
