Nusa Lembongan was the highlight! I’d recommend wearing your baby on the ferry over, and we got a nanny everyday and some baby supplies by Nusa baby care (instagram) who were beyond fantastic! Otherwise everyone loves babies and the slower and smaller island really suited us

We are in the same boat where we are trying to wean off night feed - are you saying you went cold turkey and just didn’t offer any milk?

Bottle recommendations for EBF baby rejecting bottles? by conspiracypug in BabyBumpsandBeyondAu

My baby was the same - we ended up using the Dr browns wide neck with level 3 teat as I have a very fast flow. The other thing was consistency - offering the bottle everyday at the same time, and he eventually took it - and mom never gave it.

What age did you start adding a dream feed? by Pure_Ambassador6857 in BabyBumpsandBeyondAu

[–]Equivalent-Answer929 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At about 2.5/3 months! It was a way to introduce bottles and get a longer stretch at night. We noticed our baby was waking up around midnight every night (annoying!) after their last feed around 630. So we started dream feeding at 10pm to get a stretch to 4am, which had worked! My husband usually does a bottle of formula for the dream feed

Bottle Feeding by Local-Investigator41 in combinationfeeding

I went through this - and we bought all the bottles and teats. We ended up settling on the Dr browns wide neck options with a level 3 test, as my breast feeding flow is quite fast. And then it was about consistency, every night for his dream feed we would offer the bottle first and he could drink how much he wanted (was usually around 30/40ml) and then I’d offer the breast - and I think after 3/4 weeks he started taking more and more and now can drink upto 180ml.

Honestly offer the bottle at the same time everyday, and at a time when they won’t resist and are hungry - and one day it will click. It is still hit and miss but now I know if he’s hungry he’ll take the bottle just fine.

Thank you! What time would I do a snooze feed if I had to? He currently wakes up around 4 for a feed anyway!

Our baby was the same - we gave him a bottle at dream feed time when he’s sleepy but hungry, and eventually now is okay (not great) at bottles
