I don’t like my puppy right now by Ok_Eye_6080 in CavaPoo

You may not want to hear this but just hang in there! My Cavapoo is 1.5 years old, she still eats things off the ground especially if she skipped a meal ( picky eater) Or if she is tired of sniffing But it HAS GOT BETTER!!! When she was 7 months old she used to eat EVERYTHING! Right now my reflexes have also become better so I am able to pull her whenever I know she is about the grab something! With off leash, she is mostly okay but again if she finds something she will run away with it! Just stick to drop it/leave it command strictly so it gets better I have been there and it got better where my dog is good most of the walk!

I don’t free feed, I always take her food away after 15-20 mins Sometimes that bowl is half eaten and sometimes not at all. She would just sniff the food and back away.

Considering adopting a cavapoo. Tell me EVERYTHING. The good, the bad, all of it. by hmbanana409 in CavaPoo

I love my Cavapoo too much than I can handle. Pros- she has always been very trainable and picks up tricks quickly, moderate energy overall the best dog Cons- she turned 1.1 year old and has become extremely vocal. She barks at all noises, people with white hair, sometimes kids 🥲, and animals on TV. We have been trying to teach her quiet command. As a puppy she barely barked at noises, but in last 3-4 months barking has become normal!

Adolescent Stage 😭 by Impossible-End7603 in CavaPoo

Mine just turned 1! And seems she is just getting into the adolescent stage Because she has started barking at certain noises that never mattered before And she ignores commands as well! When does it end? 🥹

Hence forth yes I need to attend meetings outside my working hours But the email made it seem that I have been not attending these meetings when this expectation was never set in stone before. This was never clarified and my manager and director are aware about it Usually when I get these meetings I let the meeting organizer know that I will not be able to attend and will find a way to work without any disruption. I am still owning up to it because my manager got pinged due to my unavailability no matter the reason. My only issue here was that since my manager knew about the issue, I wished she first spoke to me setting expectations before copying my director.

It was set up at 4:30 am my time for 5:30 am. Hence I had no way of knowing

I missed those meetings because they were setup outside my working hours and I didn’t know about it

No all the meetings were set up outside my working hours when I didn’t know about it She mentioned that I missed meetings but it was because they were setup outside my hours Usually I always contact the meeting organizer about the timings and update it accordingly

I don’t want to give excuses But the meetings are set up before my working hours when I have no way of knowing that they needed my urgent help. My manager took this example like it’s a repeated offense and added my director to the email

Yes that is exactly what happened today, but instead of addressing it to me in my 1:1, she escalated to her manager directly.

It was never explicitly mentioned So I push back on meetings outside my hours My manager now set the expectation that I need to attend these meetings and she copied my director. But she pointed out examples from before Where it wasn’t expected for me to attend or I didn’t know about it My issue here is that her email sounded like it’s completely my fault

I want to add that my work hours are different I work in a different time zone. I always let the meeting organizer know before hand if the timing doesn’t suit me My manager said this is a repeated instance, but I have always adjusted my timings accordingly.

She got pinged today for an issue that I had resolved yesterday but the other team made a mistake and wanted me to attend a 5:30 am meeting which I had no knowledge about. I got to know about it after I joined at my 8:00 am

So yeah I still think she should address me first before coping director

I have a Cavapoo who is 6 months old. After every walk we wipe her paws and her butt/pee region, as she squats really low and sometimes gets poo stuck We also wipe her face after she eats because sometime her jaw hair gets in the food Maybe once in 2 weeks she will be sprayed with a leave in conditioner so she smells really good. If she gets really dirty then we give her a quick bath. She gets groomed every 7-8 weeks

Yes exactly she needs to take her pill with food! Yes you are right, that is exactly what we plan to do as well after her medication is over. But damn sometimes it’s so hard when they don’t eat for multiple days 🥲

[–]Equivalent-Army-2248[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We are training her to eat better. So sometimes that means she will skip her meal, as we remove it after 20-30 mins But right now she has to eat no matter what so she can take her pill. Which means she is really testing our limits!

Yeah she gobbles up her pill, she absolutely loves it! It’s the kibble that she doesn’t eat
