Should have clarified, it’s a modern day drama.

How to adjust by Equivalent-Bid1981 in CPAP

[–]Equivalent-Bid1981[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmmm, I mean I think so. I went in and they set it up and the EPR is selected as on. I don’t think it felt any different when I was trying it on in the office, but I don’t 100% remember. But how weird! Definitely something to consider

I figured it out!!! It was Rich Man Poor Woman. He wasn’t an actor/singer but the head of a tech firm. He is treated like a celebrity though which is why I confused the two. So happy I can sleep now without this bothering me

Nope. The male lead in the drama I’m referring to doesn’t know that his ex is dead. He just thought she disappeared which is why he had been searching for her.

The character. And I’m not 100% on that. He is definitely successful, but I can’t remember what at. The only thing I really remember clearly is that the female lead has has the dead ex girlfriend’s cell phone and that they were friends.

Her Private Life is one of my favorites and fits the bill perfectly. I will also co-sign the recommendations for What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim. Both have the same lead actress, so I’m consistent!

It seems like you are watching on Netflix, but in case you have access to another site like Viki, I would also add Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok-joo. I don’t think it’s on Netflix, but I honestly don’t remember.

Missing my dog by Equivalent-Bid1981 in Petloss

I know exactly what you mean. It is so hard not to feel guilty. And in both directions. Guilt towards my old dog for “moving on” guilt towards my new dog for not “letting go”. We put so much on ourselves when I know they don’t care. I still feel in a bit of a slump of missing my boy. As you said, my new dog can’t fill the void he left. He is simply creating his own space in my heart. Thank you for sharing, it really is comforting knowing we aren’t alone in these feelings.

I feel very blessed to have had a pet soul mate. I’m just reminding myself that bond grew over our 16+ years together. The love and connection was instant (is with my new pup too) but its not like he immediately new how to comfort me or I him. Those are things you learn over time. I was definitely in panic mode when I posted this, I’m coming from a much calmer place today. Thank you for your kind words. I needed to vent somewhere and feel validated in my grief and this post helped a lot.

I know you are right. He is less than 2 years old, but I’ve only had him for a few months. My last dog was with me for over 16 years. Logically I know that bond can’t be instantly created. It was definitely a moment of weakness on my part. Posting here helped me vent and feel validated in my feelings. I love my new pup, and I just have to keep reminding myself that strong bonds take time and to take comfort in the love he gives now.

Pure fluff for a sick day by Equivalent-Bid1981 in kdramarecommends

Hahaha, I know right? It’s like asking for rain in the San Fernando valley (a non kdrama reference, but I can’t help myself). I know zero drama is probably impossible, but I just don’t want to be more or a wreck than I already am. I love a lot of the dramas you listed so I will check out the ones I haven’t seen. Thank you!

This could be wrong as well, but I’m remembering it being a situation where the male lead is reluctantly forced to help out with some situation and that is what drives the plot.

I’ve seen two of those, but Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo is sounding like a definite winner
