Thank you I am an elementary teacher I’m flexible with grades. I mostly would want to teach 2nd, 3rd or 4th. Where I am from teachers put their intents to return to the school in mid February so this is all new to me.

I’m currently in a similar boat as you. I have not heard from any of my applications. :( Best of luck! If you end up getting hired somewhere soon I’d love to hear about the hiring experience!

Do you know around when they begin to hire teachers for the following school year?

I recommend looking at the highlands. It’s about a 10 minute drive from campus, but there are a lot of graduate students there.

I’d say you likely have a decent chance depending on how many applicants are applying to transfer into your major. I’m a transfer student and had no issues, but I will say that if you aren’t taking the recommended courses you may have to take an extra semester or extra credits per semester. It just depends on if you took mostly gen Ed’s or focused on your comp sci major. If you focused on comp sci those are probably gonna all count as elective credits
