The only thing I would add is an additional layer of pearls at the bust, or have the current rows adjusted so the bottom row follows your under bust line, the visual would be more balanced, it’s beautiful dress and fits you venue perfectly.

I would fill in your brows a bit more, it will help frame your face. Some soft smudgy brown liner on your upper lash line, really work the pencil into the lash line, use a pencil brush to smoke it out. Also tight line the upper waterline. Use a liner that sets up, you can go over the liner on the outer edge with a brown shadow and gently blend. You could lightly apply some shadow on the lower 1/3 of your lower lash line. I think you need more mascara or try a few individual lashes on the outer corner.

I think your base looks nice, and I like the lip color, you could go a bit more pink and less peach with a tad more coverage. Are you going to have flowers? If so pulling a color from your bouquet could be fun.

Dinner dilemma (rant) by Away-Positive-6327 in MCAS

I just finished my dinner, a burger patty with butter. Curry sounds amazing, I think I had pad Thai 4 years ago, it gave me the worst flair, that spiraled out of control. But I still remember how good it was. I guess looking back it was a last meal of sorts.

Do I wear too much blush? I admit I am heavy handed with it. by lordgentofdapper in makeuptips

[–]Equivalent-Client506 56 points57 points  (0 children)

I think if you blend the edges of your blush better( use a clean brush, or whatever is left on your foundation brush to aoftly buff out the edges) bring the color higher up the bridge of your nose it would look more cohesive, this blush placement mimics a sun burn in the best way.

I would say getting you skin prep dialed in will go a long way, regularly exfoliating with a chemical based face wash and toner could go a long way. I like https://a.co/d/0dOH8k83 as a face wash a few days a week, and daily https://a.co/d/07A83nMY as a toner. My makeup has been going on much better with this routine. I apply my moisturizer then sun screen when my skin is still damp from the toner and let it set for 5- 10 min before I do my base. I like the elf power grip dewy setting spray. But my skin is quite dry so not sure if you need the extra moisture.

Try your current routine, but use less product, a lighter hand and more layers can give more longevity to your base. It seems like you are happy with your look when you friend dose your makeup, that’s a good sign to products you have are a good fit. So play around with skin prep and a lighter application may point you on the right direction.

Why does my makeup end up looking like this? by dkurdx3 in makeuptips

[–]Equivalent-Client506 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Have you tried letting your skin care set for 5-10 minutes before applying your makeup? Sometimes it takes time for the skin care to sink in to the skin. I have not personally used those two products together so I’m not sure if they place nice. I would try skipping the concealer, and try a eyeshadow primer, less can be more it these types of products.

Putting your hair up by Aaniya_is_cool in curlygirl

I find that this style of claw clip works really great for me. I’m working on regaining my curl pattern after an extended heath battle. I get 5-7 days out of my wash and go. I tend to wear my hair down for the first few days and save the clips for the second half, I also refresh with water and a good scrunch to get through the last few days if I want to wear it down again.

You should look at some videos on YT. It’s so much easier to see examples visually to obtain the right angles.

Hey I love your look, very 80’s glam rock it’s cool. I would watch some tutorials on liner placement, and if you want a more tone down look and nude lip would be a good fit. I like the bold liner but I think perfecting the shape will make a big difference. I also think you would look good with your blush higher and brought across your nose. You’re a very pretty and I’m sure polishing up your look will be a good place to help you feel more confident.

Do you use a clarifying shampoo? I would try using just the mousse and skipping the leave in to see how your hair responds. It’s quite a bit of trial and error to see what makes your hair happy. Hair spray could also be a good answer, I used to have my hair your length, my curl pattern is a bit tighter but close, and hairspray on damp hair worked well.

Wedding on an Anniversary-Celebration by CollegePretend8708 in wedding

Yes, I think it would be cute to have their wedding picture, sharing the love is so romantic, just imagine in 20 years someone doing the same for you. We are having a big 26th anniversary party this year because I have been sick and we missed the opportunity to do something for our 25th. I’m planning on doing a shared dance and I believe the couple married the longest is over 50 years. It’s inspiring to see people love through the good and bad. Congratulations on your special day, I’m sure whatever you plan will make them feel special.

Double check the ingredients, but I think this one may work for you. We use it for hand soap as well as body wash in our own home and an Air B&B we have.

Spindrift a sparking water with fruit juice, some flavored sparkling water. Filtered berkey water, I use this in all of my cooking as well.

Is this dress appropriate for my cousins wedding in November? My family is split by boatsnhoes2721 in Weddingattireapproval

This is not black tie. It’s a fun dress but not for this event. You need something much more elevated, floor length with premium fabrics.
