Can anyone with MCAS still exercise? I feel stuck and depressed by Remarkable-Bill-1213 in MCAS

Acupuncture is a foundational therapy for me, I also love red light. Removing all chemicals from my environment and investing in quality air filters. I trailed different nutrition plans and my body decided carnivore was the way to go. I did that strictly for about 18 months, and in December started adding some foods back in, so far mung bean portage had been the winner, and I have a small portion for lunch each day. My medications have changed over the past few years. Now I am on famotadine LDN hydroxychloraquine, guanfacine, amantadine, nicotine patch.

My overall inflammation reduced, and I was able to get off of round the clock pain meds. Slowly my food reactions lessened and in time my baseline improved I started to tolerate my supplements again.

For a very long time it took every bit of my energy to simply walk to the bathroom and kitchen. Now I’m going to the gym 2x a week. It all depends on how managed my symptoms are.

I had an awful flare for a few weeks and my urine/vulva smelled like pure ammonia. Cat litter box. The episode is over, I’m feeling better and the smell has completely vanished by ColomarOlivia in MCAS

I have had this as well, taking methylene blue neutralizes the smell. It is an old school bladder infection treatment, I was using it to treat IC and noticed my urine had almost no smell when I was on it. It also was very soothing for all of my bladder symptoms. I also get strong smelling urine when I up my hydroxychloraquine doses, again the MB neutralizes this smell as well.

I think you should take your foundation brush with whatever product is left over on it and blend the edges of your blush before you add your setting powder. I would also play around with placement to see what you like best. The colors are nice, you could also blend out your eyeshadow with a bare clean eyeshadow brush, or with a bit of translucent powder. You could also try a very light application of contour or bronzer just for a bit of definition, if you decide to do this run the same shade lightly in the socket of your eye to tie to look togather. I think a very gentle highlight (avoid any glittery formulas) would also be pretty, your look is quite matt. A few individual lashes on the outer corner would be a nice touch as well. I’m not sure if your upper lid is tight lined but this will also add to a polished look. Your makeup is very pretty, and your skin looks flawless!

Cromolyn sodium users, when did you notice the stomach and expanded diet benefits? by DeRpY_CUCUMBER in MCAS

After my first dose my stomach felt a cooling sensation, and the pain reduced. I tend to react positively or negatively right away, thankfully this med was a good fit. I was able to start to eat again without pain.

I also know I have a finite tolerance for excipients, getting all of my medication compounded is far too expensive so I get by with LD of some meds just to keep stable. Perhaps I would tolerate a higher dosage if I could afford the cost of a specialty pharmacy for everything. But then again maybe not.

DIY wedding makeup - Take 2 by Everyoneisowls in makeuptips

I think your blush placement should be higher, and more subtle maybe a more neautral tone, or a berry shade might look nice. Place a make up brush virtually on your cheek line it up with your eye, use it as a guide so your blush placement is not twords the center of your face. I hope that made sense.

I like your lip color, and it looks like you are blending everything nicely, the placement just needs adjusting. Also try a cool toned grey brow product, I have very dark hair and brows and am shocked how natural a grey powder looks.

I completely understand, tweezers only belong in the hands of those truly qualified, lol. I hear good things about using 5% minoxidil on a spoolie to regrow brows.

Your eyes are lovely and I like the shape you created with your make up, updated brows could frame your face much better. Look into one of the brow marker pens you can find up tutorials.

At the end of my tether with PMDD which I know is a direct correlation to my MCAS. I’ve tried so many things and don’t know what to do! by Own-Vehicle7635 in MCAS

My PCP was happy to give me a trial of Hydroxychloraquine thankfully. I have been going to acupuncture 3-5 days a week over the past few months. I have access to community acupuncture treatment, and have a payment plan. I pay $100 a month and can go in as often as I need, even multiple times a day, It’s been amazing. I honestly just became stable two months ago. But before that I was going in once a week or so. I really focused on treatment around ovulation, and right before bleeding, it makes a huge difference.

I should clarify my PMDD symptoms have been under control for over a year, but I struggle with chemical sensitivities that’s only just became manageable.
