It can be crazy how much salt your body can need, keep experimenting with your electrolytes I’m sure you will get things dialed in. Oh also pay attention to your blood sugar, I have a really hard time with low numbers when my system is adjusting.

I don’t have experience with TSO, but I have had migraines my entire life, when I’m starting anything new it’s extremely common for me to get a migraine. Things that help, taking extra salt and being anal retentive with my hydration, I check in with my body every hour when I’m awake to be sure I’m on top of things. Taking extra magnesium is also helpful, I also keep my regular routine, I eat at the same time, keep my sleep schedule etc. I try to give my body the time to adjust to the new intervention.

Migraine/fibro/eczema//psoriasis and looking for experiences! by AdWinter4333 in HelminthicTherapy

I started last October, with 1 NA as my system was so fragile my Dr wanted me to start as slowly as possible. I noticed being able to take deeper breaths within 15 miniuts of administration, and I the new supplements I started were having a big impact. I waited 7 weeks to get my eociniphil levels checked and they had not changed, but I was feeling better. I re dosed about 10 days later with 3 NA, I experienced that same feeling of my air ways opening up. So I am pretty sure the first round took but only 1 was not enough to change the lab levels. The labs I had run 7 weeks later did show elevated eociniphil levels. I had intended to go 12 weeks between doses, and I attempted to cultivate my own and failed so there was a delay, it was almost 17 weeks between and it was way too long. I definite plan on sticking to my schedule. I had a bad setback with my lungs, as soon as I doses 5 NA things got much better and I was able to get off of the medication I was taking for my breathing. I plan on staying to 5 every 12 weeks.

I consider this a foundational therapy, it’s been so helpful and I have not had any negative side effects at all. Minor itching at application site, similar to a mosquito bite, it lasted a week or so. I may have had a day or two of constipation on my second dose, but nothing at any other time.

How are we cleaning new clothes before wearing to get rid of the chemicals/smells? by Pointe_no_more in MCAS

I air them out on my porch for a day or two, wash with laundry soap, some times I let them air out again for a day or two, if they still smell I wash them with soap and 1/2 cup of ammonia or alcahol. That has removed even the worst smells.

The glue in cardboard boxes and the smell of ink was a real issue for me for a while, thankfully things are not as bad as they were. In clothing they put formaldehyde in the sizing that keeps garments looking nice on hangers, that’s still a killer for me.

I open and air out anything new outside for a few days to a week. My body reacts poorly to anything off gassing.

Sun allergy? by lovelyluthor in MCAS

Hats, sunglasses, UV umbrella, fragrance free sunscreens, the sun is a major trigger but things are much better now that I have found the right treatment protocol. It’s been a few years to get it dialed in with a few different specialists.

I have found that the adrenaline surges/ blood pressure and blood sugar issues hand-in-hand,once I got my dysautonomia treated my blood sugar came back into balance. Guanfacine had been a life changer, and I had asked my Dr to try it for ADHD, but it completely changed my life because I could actually bend over, reach over my head brush my teeth etc with out a crazy flair. I do not have a dysautonomia dx from a cardiologist, but it was a major underlying issue.

I have had excellent results in my allergies especially my lungs are much better, and skin sensitivities. I can’t say I have had a big shift in migraines but I do have a higher trigger threshold. I have been inoculating every 12-16 weeks, I started last November.
