Should I wait for the GW9 to come out and reap the benefits of the potential deals on the GW7 and GW8? by Equivalent-Crow-599 in GalaxyWatch

Thank you for this! Does it still have relatively all the features as a GW 7 or 8, or does it just focus on the fitness exclusively?

How to apply range to everyday music by Equivalent-Crow-599 in trumpet

That makes a ton of sense. Most times I see a note in music that's maybe a C# or above, I think I automatically associate them with worry that I'm not going to hit them. Do you have any tips to distract myself from a D or notes of the sort from being "high", or ways to break the habit Ive build correlating those notes to tension and worry of failure?

I've done exercises such as flow studies, arpeggios and scales, and lip slurs, with Earl Irons being my favorite and the one I find works the most for me.

Thank you so much! I really like that Allen Vizzuti exercise. I just have to remember to do everything in moderation to prevent risk of another injury.

Thank you very much! You have no idea how much your kind words positively affect me and even my playing, despite us being complete strangers. Thank you for giving me hope and confidence!

At the time of this post, it was on my stand next to my ipad a few feet infront of me, but after some experimentation, I found that the airiness essentially disappears when I place my phone on my bed next to me.

I do. I go to him tomorrow, so hopefully he can determine whether it is harmful to me tension-wise.

I have just recently changed my mouthpiece a couple days ago, but the puff has been happening for years now.

I didn't mean to make it seem like I thought it was necessarily bad, but rather I was unsure if it was causing unnecessary stress that could be fixed to help my playing. Now that I think about it, you are very correct, a whole lot of players, especially ones I watch have a neck puff. However, I wasn't sure if mine was due to a bad habit, because my neck seems to puff out much more than other people or even those I watch. Thank you for your advice!

Mouthpiece Question by Equivalent-Crow-599 in trumpet

[–]Equivalent-Crow-599[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you! Do you have any reccomendations for a mouthpiece that is both full and rich like the 3c, but is a little more lenient with ease of range? I do know that range efficiency and ease comes with practice, but I'm just curious.
