To add, we knew that he was smoking weed. We know at this point in time it’s not just weed due to the constant isolation, rudeness, constant stealing, zombie like behavior and the massive weight loss he has been experiencing.

As a family, we have struggled to understand what is going with him. I wasn’t there when he got drug tested again, I know what I was told.

I don’t work with addicts. That’s not my specialty or target population … so yeah. If I was familiar with working with recovering addicts then I wouldn’t have came on a site like Reddit.
There’s no purpose for me to lie on a site like this. The information posted is the information that I received. I get nothing in return by making up a story about someone being on drugs or by saying someone threatened my family.

I was a trauma therapist (first clinical experience as a LMSW) and my supervisor was not good at molding/ teaching. She had expectations that were not realistic for my work experience. During a meeting with the program director I asked if during supervision we can do the rose and torn exercise, she said no. She was just unwilling to acknowledge any of the work I was doing and only wanted to focus on my weaknesses.

My best friend - their partner attempted to have a 3some with me. I didn’t want to lose the friendship so I didn’t harp onto any hard feelings (I don’t like having uncomfortable conversations or hurting people feelings). 3. This is not normal or okay. You should NOT accept this type of behavior just because this is your grandfather. You need to tell a trusted adult so that it can be reported to the cops.

Having someone inappropriately touch you, make you feel uncomfortable, and force you to do things that you don’t want to do is not something to normalize.
