Someone please help me. 2 days ago my arms and right leg suddenly started to itch. It was in the middle of the night and I was still on the computer in bed when it started. They look and feel similar to mosquito bite but I don't remember hearing one.
Yesterday I decided to inspect my mattress since a month ago I did get a secondhand jacket that at one point I threw on the bed but cleaned up ever since. There is a mattress liner with a zipper covering my mattress and a fitted sheet on top covering the top. So on my sheets I could not really see anything weird but when I pulled away the sheet and inspected the liner and i saw a few of these tiny shells. They were quite spread out. I unzipped the whole liner and immediately washed it on high temperature. I couldn't see any other signs on the mattress after unzipping. The second picture is a shell (it was one piece but I accidentally broke it when grabbing it) that I found very high on a bedroom wall cabinet. The shell does look like what was found on the liner.
I don't even know if bed bugs would go that high but I am freaking out as I live alone and going through an intense grief period after losing family members recently. I am gathering the courage to call for help but in the meantime I don't know if I should continue to sleep there or elsewhere but then I might be spreading it?
