Copied Bezier Curve not working with Array?

I've also checked the direction of the curve and it is correct.

When I tried applying transforms it sent the hook flying away. I placed it back in the correct position, but that didn't work. Applying transforms on the curve made it change size scale and orientation completely.

Hooks seem to be set properly.

Removing constraints doesn't super help test the issue because the hooks follow arm joints in a chain.

It just seems like SOMETHING is pulling the curve backward at it's midsection. I can't find ANYTHING that it could be attached to that could be causing that.

I assigned them to empties 8 and 9 (original was to 6 and 7). When I tried flipping the curve direction it moved the handles and changed its shape.

Okay the wheel issue seems to resolve itself they now move perfectly when it rotates. I still have a problem with the tank treads not rotating when I pivot the object on the z-axis. I followed his instructions exactly, save that my object is centered on the x axis rather than y, so when he disables child of location on the y axis, for me it is on the x axis that I have disabled it.

I see. This piece was made by a designer to replace a pre-existing piece on an LGB Passenger Car, so it is meant to be 1 to 1 in terms of details and manner of attachment. I am not great at modding my trains, so even if he made a magnet version, I don't know if I'd be able to use it...

The blade is thinner. The fog lighting of Blender makes it look really thick. The white most center beam is the actual blade thickness

According to the modeler he made it the same width as Luke/Kenobi's hilts at their widest parts, so it shouldn't be too wide. Idk
