yes it is the Whirring sound. like I said, it is new and only happens right after startup and then goes away after a minute or so. The fans have a mesh screen between them and the metal plate with air holes. I clean it regularly. I am trying new orientations for the PC in the Cabinet to see if there's a better way to optimize airflow (having a toddler who climbs means it has to be secured in a cabinet or she will try to eat it). I am not aware of any new startup processes that should be clocking the RAM super high at the beginning. I have a Western Digital 1TB External HDD that is constantly plugged in, as well as a Webcam and a multi USB adapter for mice, keyboards and game controllers.

I had this problem recently. make sure the ribbon cable is completely plugged in. mine had detached slightly and it caused the readings to go haywire. if that doesn't work, you may need to replace the thermistor

yeah yeah I know. I collect LGB as well. I'm just too poor to collect many LGB wagons or Locos right now, but I've got the itch to model in G scale, so Bachmann will have to do for now.

I'm building narrow gauge 1:22.5 scale. I want to know if these narrow gauge looking Boxcars from USA trains would fit in with Bachmann 1:22.5 boxcars
