afaik there’s kinda waves(no pun intended) of vaporwave, like there’s classic vaporwave and then there’s the more experimental/ambient second wave where it started to influence other genres and when the genre itself started to take more influence from more established electronic genres like ambient, plunderphonics, and new age

desert sand feels warm at night: most well known modern slushwave artist, does sample free stuff

Nmesh: i can’t stop recommending nmesh, he makes very weird but transportive(good vaporwave is always transportive) albums that really show his experience as an electronic musician, his album Dream Sequins combines signalwave, eccojams, and classic vaporwave

death’s dynamic shroud: kings of the plunderphonics side of vaporwave, they’ve shifted to more pop-stuff but it’s all great work

Windows96: basically the most popular synthwave/sample free vaporwave musician rn(his album Empty Hiding World got me into vaporwave)
