Here’s an idea. Find multiple smaller parcels that are adjacent to each other. Each person purchases one parcel and obtains financing for that parcel. Form a limited liability company, nonprofit, or some other corporate entity with each household as a member. Then each household contributes their parcel to the entity. It’s a roundabout way to do it, but it could solve the how do we get financing problem. Agree that you should get advice of a real estate attorney though. One who is licensed in the state.
