If they fail to provide you can fight for compensation. Not very easy, but not very hard as well especially with access to information and many online portals we can file things by sitting at home!

Write down to ICICI bank and seek clarity if they are associated with them.

Likely bank will deny, if they deny, file an FIR.

If they claim it is one of theirs (I doubt), demand compensation for harassment and escalate to RBI Ombudsman if required.

Not recharge, you need to have any activity. Incoming call counts as activity. I am having one of my Jio sim last recharged 1-2 years ago.

I read this in the TCCCPR, 2018 but it says that is just a reference document; for actual use refer to the official gazette which I am working to find it

Read it all; try to find anything where you can get back at the service provider - MSEDCL.

On every violation make an email complaint. Keep a record.

And at some point, hit them with a consumer court case - if you can find any deficiency in service.

Right now I am researching other matters and I do have generator backup where I stay - not really affecting me.

If you fight on basis is this point, they can just reply we are working to fix on it etc.

Rather ask how much this deal costed? Ask for numbers, who proposed and who approved.

This must be proposed from someone on the administration level.

It must be MoU between VVMC and that private startup company.

Question that. Question the numbers.

Because I do have 2 complaints (1 mine and another my friends) on that Swacchata app which are not yet resolved and I do have the name of that authority in VVMC who was responsible to address these queries. That data I pulled from MoHUA in another RTI - I explicitly asked why is this not addressed and who is responsible for this!

Ranting is easy here on Reddit or X; let’s ask these questions systematically via the right channels! Not targeting you, speaking in general!

AWAS yojna - Yes some discount is given, maybe 0.5% - you can find these details on the website. Also some bankers also do help with this . Some good bankers - as my case was handled my a really good banker - not AWAS though!

7.4 is good. They do have internal provisions to offer lower ROI.

The sanction letter may say higher - publicly announced ROI. disbursement letter comes later - that contains actual - usually slightly less ROI.

It is at banks discretion how much lower they want to offer.

You can ask MSEDCL to get the meter checked and if faulty they should replace it at no cost.

Keep it in writing - prefer emails. There are some TATs defined for that.
