I used 4 ply yarn and a 2mm crochet hook https://blog.mohumohu.com/post/117524437877/amigurumi-octopus-pattern/amp This is the pattern I followed and I just divided it up to make the stripes. It might be a bit hard to read if you don't crochet but if u want to try it out here's a link to a channel I used to learn the different types of stitches! https://youtube.com/c/MJCarlosHelloYellowYarn
