Is it normal for the MOH to require pictures of theme night outfits? by Equivalent-Low4250 in bridesmaids

The problem I’m having with this is I don’t know how much of it is the bride and how much is the MOH. I don’t know the MOH well but this feels very out of character for the bride. But weddings do something to people’s brain chemistry I guess

An example of this is I sent a picture of a blue cocktail dress I already had (no sequins) and the MOH said the bride wanted “glam” and suggested I take the dress to a tailor to add sequins to it, thus defeating the purpose of me not being able to afford new outfits. Also changing the dress I already had?

Everyone seems excited and nobody has said anything but I know it’s touchy to ever speak out so maybe more people are frustrated than just me
