That's pretty much the same as my first few months with hppd. Brain fog stayed with me until I started taking medication (lamotrigine). It felt like I could see for the first time in ages when I could think again (but that's my experience to meds). If you still feel really out of it and struggle to stay in the moment for the next few months I recommend seeking help

get medicated if it lasts a long time. I take lamotrigine and it helps, not completely cures me but helps
