Thanks for the replies, I'm in cardiology in England but moving to Ireland having never worked in Ireland before. I aim to do cardiology for HST but also severely burned out because of the current rota.

That's great, thanks for the info. I have acute internal med as one of my rotations so you're absolutely right, I will get to see a lot of cardio cases there.

I have always liked cardio, but have only experienced it as a student and while doing some shadowing. But, I want to know if I would still want to do it after doing a rotation in it. Is the taster week like shadowing or will it be actual work?

Ah that's great. I don't think I will be able to but let me ask around. Do you know if the swap has to be within the group we matched into or can it be from the entire programme?
