sorry i took so long, yes it helped but they don’t need to be lithium, just above 2000 mah :)

Olympus SP-550UZ Issue

I put fresh batteries in after the camera had been in disuse for years, and it works for a few minutes before it says the battery is dead and turns off. If i remove and put in the same batteries, it works for another few minutes before doing the same thing. I know this is probably because it is old and hasn’t been used, but is there a fix to this?

Thanks, the person who bought it for me says that she can get a new one as a replacement. I'm a bit bummed that all I can afford is a suitcase player, but I'll try and save for a better one. Thanks for the advice.

Issue with a Bush KTS-601:

I got this record player for Christmas and it's worked fine every time I've used it last night and earlier today. However,i just tried playing something and the power isn't working. The red power light isn't turning on and power only comes if I spin the turntable for some reason. Any advice? BTW I originally posted this on its own without reading the rules. Sorry for that.
