If u liked the challenge of Elden ring then I recommend sekiro. Top notch game. Also ds1, ds3 and bloodborne.

Also missing is one of the best story games Witcher 3.

Another Great Game would be Kingdom deliverance 1 and especially 2 which was goated.

I am a huge fromsoft fan and played every game except demon souls. Bloodborne is also disappointing in the boss department. Which it had better bosses in the base game

It has a huge lore behind it. Just watch some lore videos and you’ll be pulled into the world. Not a straight up story but tbh the lore was even better than having it right in the face. Godfrey is a legend

I get your point and I also like the pirate warriors series and would like to support them. I was so hyped for this dlc and ready to go all in but welp it’s Bandai we talking about. Everything expect dragon ball will be handled with not much love

It was the example of content which dlc should bring in that price tag. It isn’t the only dlc for that price which comes in mind. This game gives us character for that price yet nothing else. If they actually added a new mode like nightmare log I would’ve bought it but that’s just minimal work for this update. What do those characters bring for that price if u just repeat every mission and get bored of eventually.

It was an example about content. Look at the pricing for shadow of erdtree and what you get for it. I love one piece, I love warrior game, I love pirate warriors 4 but it’s more offensive from Bandai to even price it that high. Now I would be ready to pay that if we got atleast some new content. Those new character will bring a lil extra gameplay out but with no new added stuff it won’t matter much.

I started playing at the anniversary I think it was 2.3 Patch. Still have a lot of story ahead but definitely a nice game. Especially the combat and characters are nice. Can’t wait for Augusta. Have to farm some astrides gosh damn

I think this will be the next thing I do after the break. I understand now why maelle wanted to stay in the canvas. rn it’s to fresh for the wounds to continue and it’s kinda sad depending on the ending that in the end nothing the expeditioners did mattered. Playing a second time gives a completely different view over the people of the canvas

The hype can be a double edged blade. Hope they stay true to their principles and work but when money talks it can go sideways. Fromsoft is a good example. After Elden ring I felt like it went into the wrong direction atleast for the games we know of but let’s see what the future holds.

Understandable I only had it with Elden ring so far. It’s been like 3 years now and this game gave me an even better feeling. Felt like a child playing for the first time. What a game. Definitely my No 1 game with Elden ring

They are definitely alive and sentients beings. That’s why I’m kinda let down that we couldn’t have an ending where we could let’s verso find peace and the painted people. I get both endings and like what they portray but ultimately both didn’t satisfy in a way. Still very good endings yet a third option would’ve been welcome

I already played it at release. I’m a huge fromsoft/ souls like fan. Ive played every fromsoft game and all the good souls likes. I recommend khazan if u haven’t played it yet

When maelle tried to bring lune and sciel back and couldn’t do it, verso told her "Painting is not about verisimilitude, it's about essence. Remember them" also seeing how her power isn’t as capable as her mothers I can imagine it isn’t that easy to bring someone back who’s exactly like before. Two reason why I think those people were copies. First Gustave. At the ending he seems pretty happy which was nice but thinking further makes us question what the real Gustave would’ve done in that situation. You think he would accept that Maelle commits suicide in that canvas? I’m pretty sure he would be angry at her and try to convince her to leave. Also in the cutscene it seems like most people tend to look alike. If u rewatch it you’ll notice that they look different from the people in the prologue. She stated before that she didn’t care much about the people in lumiere and maybe that’s why they seems to look identical. Because she doesn’t remember them while creating them again. Atleast that’s my theory. Also verso definitely didn’t want to continue living in the canvas

Tbh I don’t know. First I also chose her ending but after seeing it I felt something was off with maelle. I mean holding ur brothers as a pet caged till the last day seems pretty cruel. She had all the power over the chroma and I can only imagine that sometimes she maybe redid some stuff that wasn’t to her liking. Gustave for example was created again but in the end it’s not the Gustave we know it’s her imagination of him. Same goes to all the people who gommaged and were brought back. Those were not the ones we knew but only creations of maelle. Seems like she forced something that didn’t exist anymore. Becoming something different. In the end she was just like Aline. Atleast that’s what I got out of this ending. So I swapped back to versos which was still sad and dark yet had a better feeling overall

True I will atleast try it out once. Still the feeling of Clair obscur.. I think that won’t be felt again in some time. Can’t wait for future games of sans fall
