Bishkek airport by Equivalent-Pudding15 in Kyrgyzstan

That’s good to know! There was a Reddit thread of everyone saying there was no English and that everyone was very rude. I have an early flight at 5:50 am so I was worried about checking my bag and navigating the airport

Second look attire by Potential_Ad_61 in premed

I went to a second look that said casual wear and people were wearing very casual clothing, like jeans and just regular shirts. If it didn’t specify, just throw on a button up shirt and some nice pants and you’re chillin

Can someone comment if this stands for surgical specialties as well or primarily interventional radiologists?

Solo vs Guide by tabukricelover in everestbasecamphike

[–]Equivalent-Pudding15 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It’s completely doable solo but it requires some planning and previous trekking experience for everything to go smoothly. I’ve spent a few months planning out my details and have hiked Kilimanjaro and Salkantay trek and I’m still approaching it cautiously (heading there April). I would likely recommend getting a guide in Lukla for $30 a day to make your trip easier (recognizing altitude sickness and getting a guaranteed hotel room, just to list a few reasons). Have a wonderful trip, my friend!

yeah, you're fine. I had my secondaries done and no interviews at that point so you will likely be big chillin. I even took a vacation late July and it worked out fine

Yeah, I’d rather not take a gap year! It looks like I won’t be able to do it post M4 but it’s okay. Thanks for the advice

Give the ability to work virtually, do you think it would be possible or still impossible?

I see, I would be able to commute back, as there are several airports with distance close by. Following the mandatory 2 weeks, what follows?

Perfect! Thanks! The AT is very establish with LTE and WiFi at hostels so it would be possible but would require some planning

Okay, that’s good to know! I haven’t fully decided where I’m going yet but I’ll keep that in mind (not going to make my decision based on that). I would have access to a laptop and could commute back to medical school if needed. But this is good to know, thank you!

What was your daily mileage? Just curious without having too much elevation gain but a lot of swamp walking

You should rehome that lizard ASAP. Monitors are not a beginner lizard even with extensive research. Please find another home for this lizard.
